Insidethe illnesses progressive neurodegenerative she is the amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, considered a devastating illness due to their progressive character of disability that takes to the patient to the death, constituting a problem of health for the tremendous suffering that causes to patient and family. The correct coordination multidisciplinary improvement the quality of the patient's life. They were carried out searches in several sources of information with different terms related with the amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. They will approach the most outstanding in the illness: definition, causes, clinical, diagnostic manifestations, evolution, presage and treatment that the patients will cross. Also, it can be proven the importance that has the correct organization of the multidisciplinary team in the treatment of these patients, being the physiotherapist the most outstanding, because fromprinciple to end is implied in maintaining a functional level and of possible autonomy during the course of the illness.Downloads
