Abstract

It's offered an overview in the evolution of Pediatrics throughout history and detail the changes that have occurred in specific areas of the world. Offer the results of personalities who have excelled in the specialty and who made important contributions to Pediatrics as a science. Therefore, a review article was made with the objective of describing the experiences of the eminent Cuban doctor Ángel Arturo Aballi and his contribution to the development of the specialty that made him the Father of Pediatrics in Cuba, consulting a total of 14 bibliographies and it was concluded that the Pediatrics has been studying for several periods since its inception and in recent years considerable changes in this science have been witnessed.
