Objective: to clinically and epidemiologically characterize patients from 1 to 10 years of age with enterobiasis from a medical office at the Turcios Lima polyclinic. Method: an observational, descriptive and cross-sectional study was carried out between January 2023 and December 2023. The universe consisted of 62 children from 1 to 10 years of age in the community of the Family Medical Office No. 50 of the Turcios Lima polyclinic. Results: 75.81% of children suffered from the disease, the most affected were boys aged 6-10 years (n=13; 20.97%). Anal pruritus (n=47; 100%), perianal lesions (n=35; 74.47%) and sleep disorders (n=31; 65.96%) were the most evident clinical characteristics. Dirty nails (n=37; 78.72%), not wearing shoes and inefficient hand washing before eating (n=33; 70.21% in each case) constitute the risk factors with the highest incidence. The habit of sleeping 2 or more people in the same bed (n=41; 87.23%) in homes is the main source of infection. 55% of the patients used Albendazole as treatment. Conclusions: risk factors are fundamental in the incidence of cases. It is necessary to improve health promotion and prevention actions to reduce the incidence of this disease
