Medical prescription in essential stages of life

The medicine consumption can be approached from different perspectives depending on the applications of the analysis in course. Its analysis is useful to several applications, mainly health policy and administrative applications. As a result it was carried out a bibliographical revision with the objective of describing the medical prescription in infants, pregnant and geriatric patients. With this aim there were analyzed 15 bibliographical references showing the predominant negative effects during pregnancy, breastfeeding and in the later stages of life. These negative effects are teratogens, they affect the infant development and create drug dependence. Meanwhile a good medical praxis remove any medicamentous risk factor that can affect the population as a whole.Downloads
