Introduction: Children, although they generally present milder forms of COVID-19 compared to adults, are not immune to its adverse effects, the appearance of conditions such as myocarditis and multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) has raised concerns about cardiovascular complications that may arise after infection. Objective: to analyze the impact of COVID-19 on pediatric cardiovascular health in Cuba. Methods: 67 articles were identified, of which 25 were included, more than 75% of which are from the last 3 years. They came from academic search engines such as PubMed, MedLine, Ovid, ResearchGate and Google Scholar. Development:there is little data regarding cardiac involvement in children who have a personal health history of having suffered from COVID-19, such as heart failure and myocarditis, only a few reports confirm this. Conclusions:the COVID-19 pandemic was undoubtedly a challenge for the international medical community dedicated to treating children. This disease can be the cause of cardiovascular diseases in children such as cardiac arrhythmias, myocarditis, pericardial effusion, shock, multisystem inflammatory syndrome or Kawasaki-like disease
